NO: Vanskelig å beskrive dette prosjektet på en konsis måte. Interesserte kan laste ned pdf-en som forklarer det hele litt bedre. Trykk på bildet for å forstørre det, og gjøre teksten leselig.

EN: Sorry about the large image, and the lack of english text in this one. I’ve just copy-pasted from the presentation PDF. What this is is basically a media player. The white pebbles contains unique RFID-tags wich links to music albums stored in the player (if downloaded) or on the internet. The pebbles are meant to be differentiated in form and graphic expression, making each pebble a unique representation and trigger of a music collection stored virtually, thereby making organizing virtual music intuitive and physically understandable.

The player itself has got RFID-readers embedded. It will read the tags, and not less important, the position of the pebbles on the player. That way you can organize playlists simply by placing the desired pebbles in a row, or you can play a handful of music collections randomly by just pouring them randomly on the board. The player detects wether the pattern the pebbles are in is random or intended by using algorithms. You can also mix and match different organizations (see the last figure).
